ERROR RATE MEASUREMENTS OF RDS-FM TRANSMISSIONS : APPLICATION TO AN RDS- BEACON

This paper discusses the performance of Radio Data Systems (RDS) retransmission using leaky feeders in road tunnels. From these results, the authors propose a new open road application of leaky feeders dealing with the possibility of transmitting very locally specific RDS information without altering the received audio program.
