DEVELOPMENT OF FIBEROPTIC SIGN DISPLAYS FOR DYNAMIC LANE ASSIGNMENT
This report presents a review of the current signing technology and a brief evaluation of the various signing technologies that can be used to design changeable message signs. The advantages of using fiberoptics technology in implementing the concept of dynamic lane assignment are highlighted.
