AUTOMATIC RECOGNITION OF VEHICLES APPROACHING FROM BEHIND

Introduces a vision system designed to recognize in real time vehicles approaching a car from behind. It has a modular structure and may be part of an automatic co-pilot assisting a human driver, or of an autonomous vehicle. An implementation of this system has been tested in various highway scenes.
