DRIVERS' REQUIREMENTS FOR RECEPTION OF INFORMATION : NORWEGIAN CONTRIBUTION TO DRIVE-PROJECT V1024, DRIVER INFORMATION SYSTEMS

Outlines the "ideal content and presentation conditions" of Driver Information Systems (DIS). These include recommendations on the informational content of DIS and criteria for presenting information suited to the mental capacity of drivers. Problems concerning evaluation of the long term effects of DIS are also studied.
