IVHS TAKES AROUND TO THE ROADS AROUND CHICAGO

Describes the ADVANCE Project, in which vehicles will be equipped with onboard navigation and route guidance systems and linked to a Traffic Information Center. An in-vehicle navigation computer will then determine the best route and display that course on a digital map.
