EVOLUTION OF AUTOMOTIVE HEAD UP DISPLAY TECHNOLOGY

The Delphi Delco Electronics Systems HUD uses a projection optical system that creates a virtual image in front of the driver. As HUD information moves from redundant displays to primary displays, the technical challenges become more complex. Delphi Delco Electronics Systems continues to concentrate in the areas of primary HUD development, image source selection, large field-of-view imaging systems, thermal management, analysis and simulation tools.
