TRAFFIC CONTROL IN WORK CONSTRUCTION AREAS - IN YUGOSLAVIA AND NEIGHBORING COUNTRIES. PRACTICAL AND THEORETICAL ASPECTS
The problem of traffic control in work construction areas with a special emphasis to the conditions in Yugoslavia and neighboring countries (Bulgaria, Romania and Hungary are discussed in this paper. According to the current sources, an intensive revival of the road network in Yugoslavia and the neighboring countries is planned. It is expected that most of the work can be done without interruptions to the traffic. Special attention to identify negative effects caused by road work is given in the paper, as well as identifying appropriate control and use of contemporary equipment in order to minimize the negative effects.
