RETROREFLECTOMETER

As vehicle driving is based exclusively on driver's perception of the visible background of traffic on the road, it is necessary to determine the visibility of the latter. In order to establish the degree of visibility of the traffic on the road at night, it is necessary to measure the value of light reflection to the driver's eye. A device called retroreflectometer has been designed and is in use for measurements on different kinds of road pavements.
