IMPULSE EARTHQUAKE GROUND MOTIONS (EQGMS): A HISTORICAL AND CRITICAL REVIEW
This paper presents a historical and critical review of recorded earthquake ground motions that contain several acceleration pulses, and the effects of these motions on the performance of buildings, in order to identify the major issues and directions for their solution. Results of some previous studies are summarized.
