TELEMATICS APPLICATIONS FOR TRANSPORT : PROJECT SUMMARIES

This document provides an overview of the objectives, content validation sites and expected benefits of the projects implemented in the Fourth Framework Programme of the European Commission. 70 projects are described and divided into the following areas: 1) Passenger intermodality and public transport; 2) Freight intermodality; 3) Road transport; 4) Air transport; 5) Railway transport; and, 6) Waterborne transport. The remaining categories cover: 1) Horizontal issues; 2) Telematics infrastructure and common services; and, 3) Contribution to EU policies.
