SECOND NATIONAL FORUM FOR ADVANCED PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION (APTS) : NEW THINKING IN TRANSIT MANAGEMENT CONCEPTS : DENVER COLORADO, AUGUST 9, 1995
This document reports on a forum which explored two areas associated with transit management: human design issues associated with new technologies, and the uses and benefits of automatic vehicle location and control systems. Papers from two sessions are presented. The first session centered on design issues and the human-machine interface. The second session focused on the use and benefits of AVL systems.
