NOTE ON THE DYNAMIC BUCKLING OF ELASTO-PLASTIC STRUCTURES

This note reviews several topics related to the analysis of dynamic buckling and post-buckling behavior of elasto-plastic structures. It is aimed at providing a background for a dynamic elastic-plastic structural analysis code that is being developed to study the dynamic buckling and post-buckling behavior of submerged structures under transient pressure loadings.
