RESEARCH ON DISTRIBUTION CHARACTERISTICS OF POLYCYCLIC AROMATIC HYDROCARBONS IN MAIN TRAFFIC ROUTES ACROSS BEIJING URBAN DISTRICT
Systematic analysis and monitoring measures of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) are adopted in this paper in order to inspect the distribution characteristics and the concentration of PAHs. A systematic sampling of atmospheric particles was taken at seven busiest traffic routes across Beijing, respectively in winter (season for heating supply) and summer (season without heating supply). The samples are analyzed with a HPLC-fluorescence detector. Regardless the seasons with or without the heating supply, the concentration of PAHs shows close correlation with that of Benzopyrene.
