TRAFIKTUNNLAR OCH LASTFAR

This report gives the results of a joint study made by the Gothenburg and Stockholm Public Works Departments and the National Road Administration of the geometrical design of road tunnels and the equipment necessary for their operation. Both Swedish and foreign data were considered. The main sections deal with general principles, classification, design data, cross section, alignment, junctions and interchanges, ventilation, water supply and drainage, lighting, heating, fire precaution and evacuation arrangements, traffic regulation, supervision and alarm, power supply, operation, accommodation for staff and machinery, constructional aspects, costs. There is a comprehensive list of literature relating to the various sections. /TRRL/
