THE PROBLEM OF ORGANIZING AND MANAGING DISTRICT ROAD MAINTENANCE IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES: THE CASE OF ALGERIA
Paper reports on the findings of a 1994 study assessing the conditions of Algeria's highway network. Based on the findings, it attempts to identify ways and means of preserving the country's road assets and ensuring their cost-effective development for the economic development of the nation.
