THE USE OF LOW-COST COMPUTER TERMINALS IN ROADWAY DESIGN
A procedure for computer aided roadway design using a low cost design office computer terminal aided by a computer program entitled roadial is described. Section 1 introduces the subject of computer terminals and describes how the roadial program may be used. Section 2 contains a detailed description of how a terminal-roadial system may be used with the computer installation at trinity college, Dublin. Section 3 is a catalogue of currently available low cost terminals. /TRRL/
