NOTHING FOR NOTHING!
VOOR WAT, HOORT WAT!
Road pricing aimed only at reducing car driving cannot rely on getting much support. A vast majority of Dutch car drivers reject road pricing, if its profits 'disappear' into public funds. Public opinion changes, if the profits of road pricing are put back into traffic, such as improvement of public transport. (A) For the covering abstract of the conference see IRRD 887581.
