OPTIMIZING THE SIZE OF CONCRETE HULLS
The relationships between length, breadth, depth, and draft are determined partly by the requirements of structural design and partly by the restrictions or requirements imposed by service conditions (for example, draft limitations or high-speed requirements). Cases in which the structural requirements are of overriding importance are discussed.
