DRIVERS' EXPOSURE TO CARBON MONOXIDE IN NOTTINGHAM, UK
The preliminary results of a 7-week program to monitor the levels and time integral exposure of carbon monoxide experience by drivers in Nottingham, UK are presented. The results show that the levels are within the World Health Organisation's guidelines for 1 hour exposure. The relationship between vehicle speed and carbon monoxide concentration is also investigated and is found to be not significant. (A)
