COMPOSITE STEEL-CONCRETE STRUCTURES. BEHAVIOUR OF TWO LARGE COMPOSITE STEEL-CONCRETE LIGHTWEIGHT BEAMS
CONSTRUCTIONS COMPOSITES ACIER-BETON. COMPORTEMENT DE DEUX POUTRES MIXTES ACIER-BETON LEGER DE GRANDES DIMENSIONS
Tests conducted on two large composite steel-concrete lightweight beams confirm the results obtained on small beams. The behaviour of those beams prepared with lightweight structural concrete is identical to that of composite standard concrete beams. The elastic and ultimate strength behaviour can be calculated with standard methods taking into consideration the mechanical characteristics specific to structural lightweight concrete. /TRRL/
