COMPOUND HORIZONTAL CURVES : CALCULATION AND SET-OUT

This document outlines the calculations necessary to design and set out a horizontal curve consisting of an entry transition, a first circular arc, a connecting transition, a second circular arc and an exit transition. The steps are also outlined which enable the method to be extended to cover the case of entry transition - circle 1 - transition - circle 2 - transition - circle 3 - exit transition. /TRRL/
