FLY ASH FROM PULVERIZED COAL POWER PLANTS
LES CENDRES VOLANTES DES CENTRALES THERMIQUES A CHARBON PULVERISE
This pamphlet describes the manufacture, marketing and uses of fly ash from power plants in France. One chapter deals with the use of fly ash in road construction, especially their use (1) on their own for the construction of embankments and the mechanical stabilization of soil; (2) mixed with other materials for pavement construction; (3) as a filler for bituminous mixtures. Some examples of their utilization in France are given. /TRRL/
