In recent years, the transit industry has seen a wholesale shift in the way buses are designed. Today's buses perform the same functions as their predecessors but in a whole new way - with lowered floors for easy access, battery and hydrogen power for zero emissions, alternative fuels and hybrid technologies for cleaner burning engines.
