OIL POLLUTION INCIDENT, PLATFORM CHARLIE, MAIN PASS BLOCK 41 FIELD, LOUISIANA
A documentation team from Alpine Geophysical Associates, Inc. observed the Chevron spill incident and interviewed key personnel concerned. Little damage to the environment was observed, mostly due to a combination of fortuitous circumstances. Considerable knowledge was gained concerning the physical limitations of spill control in open water.
