HYDRAULIC SCALE MODEL TESTS ON LOCAL SCOUR NEAR OFFSHORE STRUCTURES UNDER WAVE ACTION
This paper gives the results of scale model tests investigating the action of waves and currents on the process of scouring of piling systems of offshore structures. A description is given of the effects caused by wave action, knowledge and consideration of which seem to be important particularly in the case of divided and/or detached structures.
