ATTEMPT OF MEASURING POWER SPECTRA OF WIND-GENRATED WAVES ON CURRENTS
This paper is concerned with the measurement of the true power spectra of wind-generated waves on currents. First, the wave speed solutions for several current velocity profiles in a laboratory experiment with special emphasis on a logarithmic drift current are discussed. Then, the spectral transformation from the observed apparent spectra to the time spectra are described. Finally, a few examples of the true spectra are presented.
