U.S. GREAT LAKES PORTS STATISTICS FOR OVERSEAS COMMERCE
The first of three installments of the 1976 edition will be available to subscribers by late September, according to officials of the Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation. The first installment covers the period of March through June, 1976, and follows by approximately two weeks the release of base data tapes from the U.S. Bureau of Census for the last month reported. Subsequent installments for this year's edition will cover the periods of July through September, and October through January. Data in each installment relates to origin/destination by country, movement by overseas trade routes, commodity codes and descriptions, dollar values, weight in tons and types of vessel services. Figures are for the current period reported and year-to-date. Commodities are shown at the three-digit level of detail, dollar value is indicated in thousands of dollars, and weight is provided in short tons. Subscription for the three-part publication is $100. The Seaway Corporation is accepting both renewal subscriptions and new orders.
