FLEXURAL STRESSES AFTER CRACKING IN PARTIALLY PRESTRESSED BEAMS
A method is presented to calculate elastic flexural stresses in partially prestressed concrete beams, in which cracking can be expected at service load. The effect of mild steel reinforcement, often used to supplement the main prestressing steel in such construction, can easily be included in the analysis. A numerical example is given to demonstrate the proposed method. /Author/
