INFORMATION SYSTEMS IN LOGISTICS AND TRANSPORTATION

This book tries to picture the state of the art in information systems in logistics and transportation, both in research and in practice. It is the product of a joint effort of academicians belonging to the Center for Transport and Traffic (CTT) at Chalmers University of Technology and Gothenburg University, and of practitioners that have many affiliations to the CTT, in the Gothenburg industrial area. The intended audience of this book is: logistics and information technology managers in large and medium-sized shipping, hauling, and logistics services companies; managers of logistics consultancy and software firms; and transportation economics, logistics and informatics academic staff members and students.
