DYNAMIC SIMULATION OF STEAM PROPULSION PLANTS
SIMULATION DINAMICA DE PLANTAS DE VAPOR
The present paper gives a review of the work that has been carried out on dynamic simulation of marine steam power plants within Det Norske Veritas. A dynamic simulation program has been developed for a typical VLCC. The model has been verified against measurements. A modular dynamic simulation program has been developed. This program may be used for simulation of almost any steam power plant configuration, and is thus a useful tool in system analysis. Application of the simulation program in a simulator is described.
