DECADE OF NORTH SEA PLATFORMS
Since the installation of the first North Sea Structure 10 years ago, the engineering and construction companies have found it a challenge to conquer the hostile environment of this area. An expanding technology is required to develop new concepts to meet design, construction and certification requirements. This presentation shows how platform development over the past decade has resulted in the highly sophisticated super platforms of the present.
