JOURNAL ROLLER BEARINGS: A CONTRIBUTION TO THE TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT
Journal roller bearings must optimally fit into the total integrity of every rail-vehicle. Therefore, no isolated approach is possible. They must be so dimensioned, as to guarantee a high degree of operational safety. Maintenance costs must be aside from acquisition costs, an integral part of any economic consideration. Long years of practical experience allowed to rate the qualities and characteristics as well as the useful life of different journal roller bearing types.
