SHIP OPERATION SIMULATOR AND ITS APPLICATION
Describes the ship maneuvering simulator with a visual display system recently developed by IHI, giving the background and some experiences in its application. Also, it deals with marine engine simulating systems, through the introduction of a boiler plant training simulator which has been delivered to the Marine Technical College of the Ministry of Transport of Japan.
