INFLUENCE OF THE STRESS DEPENDENT STRAIN BEHAVIOUR OF UNBOUND ROAD BASES ON THE STRESS OF SUPERPOSITIONED TOP LAYERS
Based on a non-linear resilient stress-strain model for unbound materials, developed at the Dresden University of Technology, calculations for strain of flexible pavements with temperature dependent bituminous layers were carried out. The comparison of this analysed results with linear elastic calculations shows great differences. Further investigations should be concentrated on the non-linear problems to get a design method of road constructions. (A) For the covering abstract see IRRD 883133.
