RUNNING AXES IN THE CITY OF ALMELO
DOORSTROOMASSEN IN ALMELO
In this paper, a way of extending public transport to the suburban areas and at the same time decreasing operating costs of public transport by 50 per cent in the city of Almelo, is presented. A reconstruction of public transport was necessary, by which axes were constructed in the public transport network. Emphasis was laid on the public transport which connects the old town centre with the new developed residential areas in the near region. For the covering abstract of the conference see IRRD 884093.
