INTERNATIONAL PUBLIC TRANSPORT, REGIONAL COOPERATION ACROSS THE BORDER
GRENSOVERSCHRIJDEND OPENBAAR VERVOER: REGIONALE SAMENWERKING OVER DE LANDSGRENS HEEN
International developments will give new impulses into the international mobility. The possibilities for such mobility was studied in a region around the Dutch and German border. Caused by increasing specifications for more profit in public transport, in both countries, it is often difficult to maintain a good public transport in areas with a small population. International cooperation can help to overcome the difficulties and improve the quality of the public transport on both sides of the border. For the covering abstract of the conference see IRRD 884059.
