FIELD VALIDATION OF LABORATORY AGING PROCEDURES FOR ASPHALT AGGREGATE MIXTURES (WITH DISCUSSION)
This paper is a summary of the validation of two Accelerated Laboratory Testing (ALT) procedures developed at Oregon State University (OSU) -- Short-Term Oven Aging (STOA) and Long-Term Oven Aging (LTOA). This paper covers both including: selection of the sites; evaluation of the field data and/or cores; preparation, treatment and testing of the laboratory specimens; and comparison of field and laboratory data.
