SOME CONSIDERATIONS ON THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE CLASSIFICATION OF YACHTS
This paper discusses classification, and explains Lloyd's Register's approach to classification of special service craft, in particular yachts over 24m. The philosophy used in the development of the new rules, fire, protection, detection and stability are examined.
