STL, A NEW APPROACH TO FIELD DEVELOPMENT

Submerged Turret and Loading (STL) is an efficient and safe system for offshore loading and storage. The technical layout of the STL is described. The STL concept for field development projects with different operation requirements is discussed such as direct shuttle loading, floating storage unit, multipurpose shuttle tanker and floating production storage and offloading.
