TRIALS FOR US SEAWOLF ATTACK SUBMARINE
The US Navy's first of class SEAWOLF nuclear attack submarine (SSN-21) was launched last year by the Electric Boat Division of General Dynamics and is now scheduled to start sea trials. The 9137t USS SEAWOLF may carry a crew of 133 and about 50 tube-launched missiles and torpedoes. She has a diving depth of some 600m and underwater speed of 35 knots.
