THE RATIONAL BEHAVIOUR SOFTWARE ARCHITECTURE FOR INTELLIGENT SHIPS
This paper describes the Rational Behaviour Model which is a tri-level control system architecture for the intelligent control of autonomous and autonomic vehicles. The constraints placed on its implementation are also described followed by a discussion of an instantiation for a specific vehicle with a particular mission. Finally lessons learned and plans for future research are presented.
