COMPUTER-AIDED PRELIMINARY DESIGN OF HATCHCOVERLESS CONTAINER SHIPS
This paper discusses the design characteristics of hatchcoverless container ships as compared with conventional container ships. A preliminary design process is performed formulating the design of a hatchcoverless container ship as a compromise decision support problem. A suitable mathematical model is presented and exercised with a set of owner's requirements for validation.
