FATIGUE RELIABILITY ANALYSIS METHODS FOR OFFSHORE PLATFORM STRUCTURAL SYSTEM

A fatigue reliability evaluation method for an offshore platform structural system is studied. Fatigue reliability models for an offshore platform structure simple tubular joint is discussed. Based on a fatigue reliability analysis model for a simple tubular joint, fatigue reliability analysis models: S-N curve and fracture mechanics models are used to calculate the fatigue life of complete tubular joints, and initial crack tubular joints for platform structural systems are established. As an example, using the computer program designed by the authors, fatigue reliability analysis is given for a Bohai fixed jacket platform.
