GHASHA: REPRESENTATIVE OF THE LARGEST LNG TANKERS
GHASHA is one of four LNG tankers built by Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding Co Ltd, Japan, for Ghasha Inc, Liberia, and is intended to carry gas from Abu Dhabi to Japan. The vessels are the largest yet built. The spherical independent tanks, built to the Moss Rosenberg containment system, have a capacity of 137,709m3 at - 163oC.
