THE HIGHWAY - WHAT CHANGES
The author reviews the development in layout, design and construction of roads over the past 25 years and considers changes likely to take place in the next 25 years. Future developments are expected to be concerned mainly with densely trafficked urban streets and major projects required either for national economic reasons or for environmental improvement.
