SERVICE RELIABILITY REENGINEERING
The author discusses railroad operations in the "old days", and how they have changed. He describes the services since he joined CSX Transportation in 1992. He specifically addresses the concept of reengineering, which involves radical changes in the core processes in railroad operations, and is always focused on the external customer.
