TRAFFIC FLOW ANALYSIS
Traffic schemes aim to achieve increasingly complex objectives in terms of changes to flows and movements. A computer program has been evolved to provide editing and storage of data and a range of alternative analyses. The analyses allow for investigations of individual sites or groups of sites, for comparison of changes with or without 'control' data and for analysis of trends over time. The use of the programs is illustrated by the example of a road closure scheme.(a) /TRRL/
