A MODEL FOR THE DESIGN OF ROADS AND STREETS FOR LOW SPEEDS
EEN MODEL VOOR HET ONTWERP VAN LANGZAAM TO BERIJDEN WEGEN EN STRATEN
The character of a road on street and its environment have an important influence on the speed of road traffic. The author assembled a diagram with curves describing the stresses caused to the driver by moving, and by psychological and physical factors. Based on this philosophy he indicates ways and means for the designers and road administrations to influence traffic speeds in a natural way. /TRRL/
