ON THE MODELLING OF BUS STOPS IN TRANSIT NETWORKS, PART I: A SURVEY OF LITERATURE AND NEW FORMULATIONS
In this paper, the researchers first surveyed the literature to present the main existing bus stop models. Then, they proposed a new general model for which they study the main properties. Finally, two special cases of the general model are outlined. These two cases and three main existing stop models are tested in Part II of this study using simulation results. (A) For part II of the study see IRRD 872721.
