DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF A MARINE TERMINAL FOR NORTH SEA OIL IN ORKNEY, SCOTLAND
This paper describes the search for a suitable terminal site, the environmental studies that were made to satisfy the requirements of national and local government and thus obtain the necessary planning consents as well as a review of the engineering design and construction of the terminal itself.
